I need some CHEESE for my WHINE

I am just so jealous. Seems like everyone but me has time to stitch. I work M-F 8-5 with a one hour commute each way, so my stitching time is limited to after dinner when I get home and on the weekends in between cleaning the house and doing laundry on the weekends when I don't keep the babies. That isn't much time. I see all you guys just zooming along and I have to be satisfied with a few stitches here and a few stitches there...

waaaaah! Can I clone me or something! LOL... Now that I've got my stitching bug back I can't find much time to nurture him.

Oh well, I will do the best I can to keep up with you guys! One stitch at a time, right!

  1. Laura,
I feel your pain. I also work from 8 to 5 & have almost an hour commute each way. I need to win the lottery so I can retire

  2. i have the opposite problem. i am unemployed, so i have all day to stitch, but i am so miserable about my job situation that i only stitch a couple of hours per week.

it's okay to whine sometimes! when i was working & in school, i felt just as you do now. apparently, cross stitch is a no win situation for me!!! LOL but everyone needs their fun/downtime, so don't feel bad about feeling bad that you don't get more stitching time.

  3. I TOTALLY relate to your problem; I work 7 am - 3ish pm; with lots of off-hour events, as well as being tied to work via Blackberry. Between reading lists, blogs, and the rest of life, it is a real challenge to find time for a really good stitch! We can just all whine together.
